Allison Price
Office Manager, Chiropractic Assistant
Allison grew up in Edwardsville, IL and graduated college from SUIE with a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology. SIUE is also where she met Kendall Price, the love of her life in 2010, and they later married in 2012. Allison then moved to Atlanta, Georgia where Kendall attended Life University to pursue his Doctorate in Chiropractic.
In 2015, at the end of their time in Georgia, the Prices welcomed their first child, Thea. Allison was able to have Thea at their home, attended by a midwife, and her loving husband. This was an amazing experience for the Prices and made Allison into natural labor and even home-birth advocate for low-risk pregnancies.
This also increased Allison’s awareness and passion for excellent chiropractic care for women during pregnancy and even postpartum, as the body is healing. However, in 2016, Kendall and Allison welcomed their second child in a much different and unexpected way. Baby boy at 35 weeks turned breech and decided he was ready to make an appearance, earth-side.
So, Allison was forced into having him via an emergency cesarean section. Having both births in diametrically different ways has taught Allison a lot about the human body’s ability to heal, and has given her insight and empathy into relating to almost any mother’s birth story.
It also increased her desire to tell every mom about the benefits of chiropractic care not only for moms but also for their little babies. Today, Kendall and Allison have two kids, who are little lights in their lives: Thea and Daniel.
Allison was diagnosed with scoliosis as a child, and regularly battled terrible sinus and ear infections, which found her frequently visiting the doctor’s office and taking medications, or getting tubes in her ears to help deal with the symptoms.
Allison’s mother also has scoliosis and had been braced as a young child – so she sought out other forms of care for Allison, hoping to avoid bracing and repeated medications for ear and sinus infections.
Allison started seeing a chiropractor at about 5 years of age. Regular adjustments helped prevent the need for scoliosis bracing, and decreased her scoliosis. Regular adjustments also helped to decrease and eliminate chronic sinus and ear infections.
Through neurologically-based chiropractic care, she has been able to improve the function of her immune system and no longer suffers from chronic sinus or ear infections. She has not taken any prescription medication since her early high school years.
Allison is proud and honored to serve alongside her husband, bringing the message of health and healing through chiropractic care to the greater Fox Valley area. One thing she wishes everyone understood about their body is that the body has GREAT potential to heal itself—the best doctor lives inside of you! Remove the interference (subluxations) and the body will heal!
